Komodo Dragons are heavist and largest living lizards in the world.They can grow up to a length of 10 feet (3 metres and above), with an average length of 8 feet and weight of 200 lbs (91kg.) Females are usually under 8 feet and weigh about 150 lbs (68kg.)
Their keen sense of smell can smell up to 5 miles (8.5 kilometres) away.Altough it is very large and heavy,the Komodo Dragon is fast and aglile reptile.They can climb tress like all monitor lizards and they are good swimmers.They have sharp teeth like those of a shark.
In the wild,Komodo dragons are solitary animals, except during the breeding season.The population of Komodo Dragons in the wild is from 3,00 to 5,000
